The Advanced Centre on Sustainable Socio-Economic and Technological Development (ASSET) at UTS is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with expertise in Human -Computer Interaction (HCI) and related fields. We welcome candidates from multidisciplinary backgrounds who can contribute to both research and teaching in HCI and related subjects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct research in identified or existing projects within ASSET
• Publish high-impact SCOPUS/WOS/ERA-indexed papers
• Develop at least two external grant proposals per year      
• Engage in teaching & learning activities as teaching assistant (minimum 6 hours/week)
• Establish research networks and collaborations

Requirements:

• Ph.D. from a recognized institution
• Strong publication record (at least two SCOPUS/WOS/ERA papers as first author)
• Experience in HCI, UX, ICT4D, or related computing fields
• It would be a plus if the candidate has experience with AR/VR and is passionate about preserving indigenous heritage.
• Excellent research and communication skills
